The Fourth Runway Challenge is just around the corner, and this time we are showcasing the captivating and unique style of the "NEO Japan" Event. As you may know, NEO-Japan SL is one of the most popular bi-annual events in Second Life, and it’s a vibrant and exciting celebration of innovative fashion styles that blend Japanese cultural roots with diverse international influences.
For this challenge, we ask that you incorporate at least two exclusive items from the NEO-Japan SL event into your runway look. With over 100 content creators showcasing their talents, there are plenty of unique and fresh items to choose from to help you create your boldest and most innovative look yet.
The Fourth Runway Challenge promises to be a dynamic and captivating display of the distinctive NEO-Japan style, and we can’t wait to see how you will bring your own interpretation of this cultural fusion to the runway. This challenge offers a glimpse into the vibrant and innovative world of NEO-Japan fashion, where the limits of creativity are pushed, and originality and individuality are celebrated.
My Presentation
I have to be honest and I have to say that my knowledge of Japanese style is very minimal.
But walking through the streets of NeoJapan event I went back in time to when I was a little girl in love with cartoons and mostly they were of Japanese origin.
Heroines, students, animals, courage, and lot of hopes.
In my mind I began to build my vision of Japanese heroine with her lucky cat.
She stands ready to defend those in need of help, with my sword that could turn into something powerful.
The bright colors of my outfit make me think of the energy I could put into my actions while looking elegant and refined at the same time.
The flowers and decorations show the love for nature that I have always noticed in the Japanese style.
Maybe a silly thoughts but it made me smile and have fun.
