Gentle woman
Gentlewoman. What it means to be kind?
I was sifting through my inventory this morning and came across this outfit.
A modern style with a hint of the past.
I thought back to the 1800s when women dressed in elegant, baggy dresses to get noticed.
This type of clothing was certainly not suitable for women at the time but it is nowadays.
What does it mean to be a gentlewoman?
The vocabulary says: "Woman of high social status and noble morals." But is that all?
Not for me.
Being a nice woman for me means being respectful of others, knowing your status and trying not to lose your temper ... but it can't always be done.
